Approach to Treatment

I am committed to delivering empathic, evidence-based treatments. I have expertise in the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship distress.

For many, it is difficult to take the first steps toward engaging in therapy. While choosing a therapist, making the first call and coming to a new office can be anxiety provoking, the benefits of therapy are worth the invested effort. 

In working together, I will help you to identify patterns of thinking that no longer serve you, and to manage emotions that interfere with living your best life. I teach evidence-based techniques that, once mastered, will allow you to continue the work of therapy independently.
