Treatment based in psychological science
I am a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY 28866) providing Cognitive Behavioral and Mindfulness-based psychotherapy, and an Assistant Clinical Professor providing clinical teaching to students in UCLA's Clinical Psychology doctoral program. I received my doctorate from UCLA and bachelor’s in Human Biology from Stanford University. Following my doctorate, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship with the VA Healthcare System.
My approach to therapy is grounded in psychological science and emphasizes a genuine and trusting client-therapist relationship. I work with adults struggling with a range of difficulties, from stress, anxiety, and depression, to coping with relationship problems and addressing long-standing mental health concerns. Our work together will start with creating an individualized treatment plan to help you reach your goals. I am available to see clients via Simple Practice Telehealth, a video service that is compliant with privacy law, upon request.
